Ignatius Knoblehar (1819-1858) was a Slovenian Roman Catholic missionary in eastern North Africa, one of the first explorers of the White Nile basin and a real Indiana Jones. The narrative and creative idea behind this beautiful project was the creation of Knoblehar's private "photo album" - an extraordinary artifact of his life, research, significance and adventure. The book was designed by Vladan Srdić / Studio 360, written by PhD Marko Frelih and published as a joint project of the Municipality of Škocjan and the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum.
