Garage Trg Republike
The oldest public garage house in Ljubljana, nestled beneath the city center between the Slovenian Parliament building and the NLB bank headquarters, presented a unique challenge. Tasked with enhancing usability and creating a more welcoming public space, our goal was to deliver an easy-to-navigate wayfinding system within a limited budget. The garage had suffered from years of heavy use and lacked significant updates since its construction, resulting in a degraded interior. To revitalize the space affordably, we opted for a neutral palette of light gray to create a sense of openness, while accentuating the pillar system with vibrant yellow hues to add visual interest. Our wayfinding system was strategically designed to cater to both pedestrians and vehicles, with clear graphic divisions for easy navigation. To address the dim lighting within the garage, we implemented LED lighting solutions to improve visibility and enhance safety for patrons. Client: Artos Group d.o.o.
